The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) will be held on Tuesday 25 May at 7.30 pm.

Ahead of this we are revising our Electoral Roll.

What is the APCM?

It is an opportunity for the Church to gather, look back on the last year and give thanks for what God has been doing in His Church over that time. Reports are presented about some aspects of Church life, and finances. New members of the Parochial Church Council (PCC), and Churchwardens, are elected.  If you are interested in serving and would like to know more, do chat with Jonny or one of the wardens.  You need to be on the Electoral Roll and be nominated and seconded by others also on the Roll.  There are three places on the PCC to be filled this year.

What is the Electoral Roll (ER)?

In the Church of England, it is the parish’s register of electors-the list of those who can participate and vote at the APCM.

Each year the ER is revised ahead for the APCM. This year the revision period is between Monday April 26th and Saturday May 8th.  If you are already on the ER you do not need to do anything.  If you are unsure whether you are on the ER (the ER is different to our church database, Churchsuite), please contact our electoral roll officer.

If you are NOT on the roll and would like to be in order to participate in the APCM, please fill out and return a form as soon as possible, and no later than Wednesday May 5th, to our electoral roll officer.

Anyone who returns their form after this date will need to wait until after the APCM to be added to the ER and won’t be able to participate in the meeting on May 25th

An application form for enrolment on the ER can be downloaded HERE
